An 18-year-old woman was shot and killed early Tuesday in Orange County, sheriff’s officials said.
The shooting happened around 2:10 a.m. near the intersection of Sand Lake Road and Lillwill Avenue.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the area for a “vehicle crash with shots fired.”
Deputies found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was taken to a hospital, where she died, deputies said.
No other details have been released, and an investigation is ongoing.
