A man from Dunnellon is dead after crashing his pickup truck in Reddick Thursday evening.
According to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, the 59-year-old man was traveling northbound on County Road 225A just before 6:30 p.m.
The man drove off the roadway and hit an electrical box. Troopers say after the driver hit the electrical box, he drove into a ditch and hit multiple tree branches and a tree.
The pickup truck flipped over, and the man was partially ejected through the drivers side window.
Troopers say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
