An early morning house fire destroyed a home in Bonita Springs on Friday.
Gulf Coast News crews on the scene saw Estero and Bonita Springs fire crews responding to a structure fire on Miller Road in Bonita Springs. Crews were called to the scene shortly after midnight.

A firefighter on the scene confirmed to Gulf Coast News that the incident was a house fire.

According to Bonita Springs Fire, the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. One possible pet was inside at the time of the fire, but was never found, meaning it possibly escaped.
One firefighter was also sent to the hospital for dehydration, according to BSF.
