A 14-year-old accused of fatally shooting an 18-year-old at an apartment complex on the Westside turned himself in on Friday, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
JSO said Keyon Byrd is facing a murder charge.
On Wednesday, officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex on Labelle Street. Officers found Marlon Lane with multiple gunshot wounds.
Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department rushed him to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
