Man dies after golf cart crashes into water in Dania Beach

A man died Sunday evening after a golf cart crashed into a body of water in Dania Beach, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

Just before 6 p.m. on Sept. 14, someone called 911 to report a possible drowning near the 2900 block of State Road 84.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and fire rescue crews responded to the scene and found a golf cart submerged in the water.
