Deadly shooting in West Palm Beach prompts investigation

An investigation is underway after a deadly shooting near the Flamingo Park neighborhood of West Palm Beach on Tuesday morning.

The West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD) said that officers responded to the 1300 block of Parker Avenue, near Howard Park, at 8 a.m.

When officers arrived, they reported finding a person with a gunshot wound who was pronounced dead on the scene.
