Bonita Springs man faces second-degree murder charge after woman is stabbed more than 25 times

A Bonita Springs man was arrested after he was accused of fatally stabbing a woman more than 25 times at a home in the Paloma community off Imperial Parkway Wednesday.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, a delivery driver was flagged down by SC, 71, who was seen covered in blood, and led the driver to the home on Saint Michael where the woman was stabbed to death.

Deputies described the scene as chaotic, with children found with blood on them.

Sheriff Carmine Marceno said C is related to the victim and calls it a domestic incident.

C faces a charge of homicide without premeditation, which is second-degree murder.
