Miami police say a 35-year-old man was shot in the city’s Overtown neighborhood Tuesday morning and transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Authorities responded around 7:45 a.m. to a home near the 1700 block of Northwest First Place, where they found the man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Police said he was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
Sky 10 flew over the scene around 10:15 a.m., where officers were seen blocking the intersection and putting up crime scene tape at the site of the shooting.
No further details about a possible suspect, motive, or victim’s identity were immediately available.
