A woman was killed and another person was hurt in a crash Wednesday morning in Northwest Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.
The collision happened at Northwest 42nd Avenue (LeJeune Road) and Northwest 36th Street.
Video shows a mangled sedan with airbags deployed surrounded by crime scene tape. Next to the vehicle, a yellow tarp covers what is presumed to be a body.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the woman who was driving the vehicle died at the scene. Another person was rushed to the hospital.
Drivers were advised to take Northwest 27th Avenue as an alternate route.
More information on what caused the crash or the surviving victim’s condition were not immediately provided.
