An elderly woman died following a car crash she was in back in August.
A crash report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) says Sherly Anne Jordan, 83, died in a hospice from the injuries she sustained during the collision.
The crash report says on August 17, a 25-year-old was driving east in a 2024 Jeep Wrangler on Linton Boulevard in the middle through lane. There was a 27-year-old passenger in the car at the time of the crash.
Around the same time, a 2019 Ford Escape, driven by Jordan, was heading north on Las Verdes Way, traveling through the intersection. That’s when the front of the Jeep Wrangler crashed into the left side of Jordan’s vehicle.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and found Jordan with serious injuries. She was taken to the Delray Medical Center, according to the report.
On Tuesday, PBSO said Jordan died while in hospice care.
