A 49-year-old man from Middleburg died Wednesday night in an ATV crash on County Road 209 in Clay County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the ATV was traveling northbound on CR-209 near Decoy Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a left curve.
The ATV then entered the woodline and overturned.
The 49-year-old passenger was thrown from the ATV. He died at the scene, FHP said.
The 30-year-old driver, also from Middleburg, suffered minor injuries, according to the FHP report.
