MDSO: Man stabbed, robbed of $4,000 while walking home in northwest Miami-Dade

A man was robbed and stabbed early Friday morning while he was walking home in northwest Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the attack happened just before 4:30 a.m. in the area of Northwest 152nd Street and Seventh Avenue.

Deputies said they responded to the area after receiving a call about a fight.

When deputies arrived, they found the victim, who said he was walking home when he was approached by two unknown men.

Deputies said the men began to fight and the victim was stabbed in his upper extremities.

According to authorities, the attackers took $4,000 in cash and the victim’s cellphone before fleeing the scene.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the victim to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

MDSO Robbery Bureau detectives are investigating the robbery and stabbing.
