A dump truck came in contact with power lines at State Road 434 and Pressview Avenue in Longwood on Wednesday, officials said.
Westbound SR 434 is currently closed. Traffic is being rerouted to Palm Springs Drive while Duke Energy makes necessary repairs, according to the City of Longwood.
The city has asked that drivers use caution and consider using an alternate route.
