School bus crash in Panama City causes traffic delays; minor injuries reported

A bus crash on Beach Drive near Balboa Avenue has caused traffic delays early Friday morning.

Panama City Police said that a truck was traveling down Beach Drive when it was rear-ended by a Bay County School District bus.

Bay District School officials said 12 students were on the bus at the time of the crash, two of them have minor injuries and their parents have been contacted.

Officers and firefighters are currently on scene.

Traffic is down to one lane in the area.
