Man stabbed in parking dispute in Lauderhill, suspect detained

A dispute over parking led to a stabbing in Lauderhill on Saturday, police said.

Officers responded to the area of 1500 North State Road 7 following reports of an altercation between two adult men. During the incident, one man sustained a non-life-threatening stab wound.

The victim drove himself to Lauderhill Fire Station 30, where he received initial treatment before being taken to a local hospital.

The suspect, also an adult male, was detained at the scene, and officers recovered a knife.

Detectives from the Lauderhill Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division are investigating the case.
