Fire crews responded to Pine Forest High School on Tuesday afternoon.
The county said the incident was described as a “High Life Hazard Structure Fire.” According to reports, there was visible smoke coming for inside the school building.
Everyone in the building at the time were evacuated as precaution. Firefighters said they saw a haze and smelled smoke upon entering the building.
Crews found a burned electrical junction box with no active flames. They secured the building’s power.
No injuries have been reported.
