A teen died Tuesday evening after being shot at a home on Caljon Road, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
JSO said the shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. at a home on Caljon Road, near St. Augustine Road.
When police arrived, they found a boy in his mid-teens suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a hospital, where he died, according to JSO.
Police said they detained two people for questioning.
“At this time, we do not know the circumstances of the incident or the relationships of those involved,” JSO said.
