14 Year old student riding bike to school hit by car, airlifted to hospital

A 14 year old student is said to be in critical condition after being hit by a car in front of Lemon Bay High School early Thursday morning.

It happened around 7am as the student was said to be riding her bike to school.

According to the Englewood Fire Rescue, the driver of the vehicle was also a student.

The 14 year old had to be removed from under the car and flown to a near by hospital.

The crash is being investigated.
