A girl was hit by a Pasco County Sheriff’s vehicle while riding her bicycle in Hudson Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
The incident happened just after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Little Road and Fivay Road, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said one of its deputies was turning onto Little Road from Fivay Road when the deputy hit a girl riding her bicycle.
First responders spoke with witnesses at the scene, and assessed the girl and deputy for injuries.
The sheriff’s office did not state whether there were any injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the incident. News Channel 8 has reached out to FHP for more information.
