A 22-year-old Pensacola woman struck a female pedestrian on Friday evening, leaving the victim in critical condition.
Troopers say the incident occurred at 6:42 p.m. on US Highway 90 near State Road 295 when the pedestrian, whose identity remains unknown, was attempting to cross the highway and was hit by the woman’s sedan.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Sacred Heart Hospital and is in critical condition, accoridng to FHP.
The driver sustained minor injuries.
Troopers are seeking help to identify the pedestrian, described as a white female in her late 50s to early 60s, with blonde hair, wearing white crocs and a yellow and black dress.
She was last seen on camera at Walmart on Mobile Hwy before the crash, according to FHP.
