Fatal wreck happened near Lake Nona Boulevard
A crash along State Road 417 on Monday evening left one dead and two others injured, according to the Orlando Fire Department.
Fire officials said the crash happened in the highway’s northbound lanes, west of Lake Nona Boulevard.
OFD said five people were involved in the crash: one of whom died and two who were hospitalized as trauma alert patients. The conditions of the other two were not released.
On its FL511 website, the Florida Department of Transportation announced that the crash had shut down all lanes of traffic.
