Firefighters are working an active blaze on the roof of a storage unit near 45th and South Place in Mangonia Park on Tuesday.
The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) temporarily blocked westbound traffic on 45th Street for dozens of firetrucks and deputy patrol vehicles.
The structure on fire appears to be a storage facility that is under construction and has yet to open.
It is unknown at this time if anyone was injured in the fire or how the fire started.
As of 12:15 p.m., much of the smoke has cleared, and the blaze appears to be under control.
