A semitrailer overturned Friday morning on a ramp from Florida’s Turnpike to Interstate 4 in Orlando, snarling traffic.
The crash happened around 5:40 a.m. in Orange County, prompting the closure of the southbound ramp from the Turnpike to I-4.
“This is going to cause some major issues,” Trooper Steve said.
Details about the wreck have not been released, but traffic is backed up in the area.
“FHP and Road Rangers are assisting,” Orlando police posted on X. “Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.”
Trooper Steve said state roads 408, 429 and 528 can be used as detours.
“That’s really all you’ve got (as options for alternate routes),” he said.
