Deputies: Man shot in shoulder during argument in Escambia County

An investigation is ongoing after a man was shot in the shoulder Saturday afternoon in Escambia County.

It happened around 3 p.m. in the 300 block of Brigadier Street near Gulf Beach Highway.

According to the sheriff’s office, two men were walking down the street when an argument ensued with a person at a home. That person then reportedly shot one of the men.

Deputies say the shooting victim suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder and was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

There is no suspect information at this time.

An investigation is ongoing.
