Two drivers were transported by ambulance from the scene of a crash at a shopping plaza in The Villages.
The crash occurred at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Bichara Boulevard and La Grande Boulevard near La Plaza Grande, in the Spanish Springs areas.
The driver of a white Ford Maverick was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center while the driver of a silver Chevy Equinox was transported to UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital in The Villages, according to the Lady Lake Police Department.
Air bags in both of the vehicles deployed as a result of the impact.
