A man died Saturday after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in the Brentwood area, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
Police said at around 6:15 p.m., officers responded to the 4300 Brentwood Avenue area regarding a person being shot.
They found a man in his late 30s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was taken to a hospital, where he died, JSO said.
There are multiple people detained and they are being interviewed. Officials said they don’t know the circumstances of the incident nor the relationships of the people involved.
Classification is still pending.
