A vehicle crashed into a retention pond near Van Buren and Washington Avenue in Fort Myers on Sunday morning.
Fort Myers police said they responded to the single-vehicle crash at 4:13 a.m.
One person was rushed to the hospital as a trauma alert.
Officers arrested the driver, Mario Ramirez, and he was transported to the Lee County Jail.
