A child is in the hospital with serious injuries after getting hit by a tractor, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The accident happened around 6:40 p.m. Saturday on private property in Bristol. Troopers said a 7-year-old boy was walking on the property when a farm tractor ran him over.
The boy was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries following the incident, per FHP. The driver of the tractor was not hurt, according to troopers.
The investigation is currently open and active.
