A driver was killed and another was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning in Columbia County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, both vehicles were traveling west on I-10 near mile marker 304 around 4 a.m.

Troopers say the driver of a sedan, a 29-year-old woman from Lake City, hit the back of an SUV driven by a 36-year-old man from Jacksonville.

The collision sent the sedan into the eastbound lanes.
