First responders rushed to the scene of a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Miami-Dade County.
It happened Monday evening in the area of Northwest 119th Street and 11th Avenue in North Miami.
North Miami police units were observed along the north side of 119th Street.
Witnesses told Local 10 News’ Terrell Forney that a dark-colored pickup truck that was observed at the scene was the vehicle that struck the pedestrian.
The westbound lanes of 119th Street were temporarily shut down as investigators processed the scene.
Authorities have yet to provide any official information about the crash or say whether the driver will be facing any charges.
