The U.S. Coast Guard responded to a boat collision Sunday afternoon near Nixon Beach that left one person injured, officials said.
Officials said a 34-foot and a 35-foot vessel collided around 4:50 p.m.
A Coast Guard crew provided first aid to one boater, who was then transferred to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue for further treatment.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating.
