30-year-old man arrested in Pace stabbing, victim hospitalized

A 30-year-old man was arrested on Sunday night after stabbing a man in Pace, according to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say the incident occurred in Pace around 10 p.m. at the Bell Ridge apartments.

A male victim suffered stab wounds to the neck and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

D. W. faces multiple charges, including:

  • attempted second-degree homicide
  • burglary of an occupied structure
  • resisting with violence
  • battery
  • threatening death or harm to a law enforcement officer

W. is currently being held in Santa Rosa County Jail with no bond.
