Miami police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday night.
It happened at approximately 6:37 p.m. in the area of 76th Street and North Miami Avenue.
According to police, responding officers found a 30-year-old man who had been shot in the buttocks, but they found him a few blocks away, near 71st Street and North Miami Avenue.
The victim was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Authorities have not said whether they are seeking any suspects or persons of interest.
