Crash sends at least 1 to the hospital in Collier County

A crash involving injuries shut down Everglades Boulevard at 47th Avenue Northeast on Monday night.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, deputies advised drivers to seek alternate routes after both the northbound and southbound lanes on Everglades Boulevard at 47th Avenue Northeast were closed.

CCSO confirmed that at least one person was sent to the hospital as a trauma alert.

CCSO and the Florida Highway Patrol are investigating the crash.
