The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that claimed the life of a 17-year-old from Pensacola.
Troopers say the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. when a white Toyota being operated by the 17-year-old was exiting the parking lot of the Valero convenience store on Highway 29 just south of Muscogee Road in Cantonment, attempting to make a left turn.
A red Dodge being operated by a 26-year-old Pensacola man was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 29, approaching the Valero convenience store, according to FHP.
Troopers say the front of the Dodge struck the left side of the Toyota.
