A 20-year-old female pedestrian is dead after a crash in Crestview on Friday night.
Troopers say the incident occurred on U.S. Highway 90 at Hare Street at 6 p.m. when a pickup truck, driven by a 22-year-old Crestview man, was traveling eastbound in the inside lane.
The pedestrian was walking northbound in the eastbound lanes when she walked into the path of the vehicle, according to FHP.
Troopers say the left front of the truck struck the pedestrian. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
An investigation is ongoing.
