64-year-old Pensacola man dies in single-vehicle crash; passenger injured

A 64-year-old Pensacola man is dead after a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Baldwin County.

Troopers say the Pensacola man was driving a Kia Borrego when it left the roadway and struck a tree on Barrineau Park Road, about 18 miles north of Robertsdale city limits in Baldwin County.

He was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, where he succumbed to his injuries, according to ALEA.

Troopers say a 59-year-old female passenger, also of Pensacola, was injured in the crash.

She was taken to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola for treatment.
