Two people were killed and two others were injured Sunday in a crash on Rock Springs Road near Apopka, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened after 6 p.m. near Alexandria Place Drive.
According to a crash report, a 2023 Ford Mustang driven by an 18-year-old Apopka man was heading south above the speed limit on Rock Springs Road when a 2021 Ford E350 attempted a left turn onto Alexandria Place Drive.
The Ford E350 turned into the path of the Mustang, which collided with the right side of the Ford E350.
The 18-year-old Mustang driver and his passenger, a 17-year-old boy, were taken to the hospital with serious and critical injuries, respectively.
Two passengers in the Ford E350, an 81-year-old Apopka man and a 94-year-old Apopka woman, were killed in the wreck. Both victims were wearing seatbelts, according to the crash report. The driver, a 63-year-old Orlando man, was uninjured.
An investigation is ongoing.
