 A woman died after being stabbed late Friday in Pine Hills, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies located the woman around 11 p.m. while responding to a stabbing reported out of the 2800 block of Rockingham Circle, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

The woman — identified as 45-year-old DeGwendolyn Floyd — was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead, the statement reads.

An investigation is said to be ongoing.
