Hit-and-run incident leave two people in critical condition

– The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) said two people were critically injured in a hit-and-run crash on Nov. 28.

Deputies said 61-year-old Michael Lynch and 42-year-old Kristen Lynch were riding an electric scooter on Gulfport Boulevard when they were struck from behind by a vehicle. Multiple 911 callers reported two people lying in the roadway at Gulfport Boulevard and Luana Lane South.

The vehicle continued driving after allegedly hitting the pair.

Both Michael and Kristen Lynch were taken to a hospital— where they remain in critical condition.

The suspect vehicle was described as an older-model SUV with heavy front-end damage. Deputies said the rear driver’s-side window appeared to be triangular in shape.
