A suspect is on the run following a shooting that injured two teenagers during a marijuana sale meet-up in Davenport, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened Friday near the Palm Key Village neighborhood near U.S. 27.
According to deputies, a 17-year-old was shot in the calf, and a 19-year-old was shot in the thigh. Both were treated at a hospital and released.
A 16-year-old boy was shot at, but he was not injured.
Deputies said the suspect, identified as 18-year-old WB of the Lake Heather Hills neighborhood off Sanders Road, will face three counts of attempted second-degree murder and charges for discharging a firearm in a residential area.
Deputies warn that B should be considered armed and dangerous.
