A bicyclist was killed in a crash with a SUV on the evening of Thanksgiving, Sarasota police said.
The crash happened just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Fruitville Road and Tuttle Avenue, according to officials.
Police said the bicyclist, a 42-year-old Sarasota man, died at the scene.
The driver of the SUV stayed at the intersection and waited for police to arrive.
Detectives said the driver was the only person in the SUV and is cooperating with their investigation.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation Monday, and no further information was immediately available.
