A crash with injuries on a ramp coming off I-75 south was causing major traffic delays Wednesday evening, North Port police said.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. on the exit ramp to Sumter Boulevard, according to officials.
The ramp and both south bound lanes of Sumter Boulevard were closed down. Drivers were asked to avoid the area if possible.
Authorities reported injuries in the crash, but it’s unclear how many people were involved.
Traffic cameras showed law enforcement vehicles blocking the road, and what appeared to be a vehicle rolled over on its side.
