A house fire broke out in Escambia County on Thursday morning, causing occupants to be displaced.

Officials say the incident occurred at s at a single-story home in the 1200 block of Trammel Boulevard. at 9:39 a.m.

Flames and smoke were visible upon the arrival of Escambia County Fire Rescue teams, according to officials.

Officials say firefighters managed to bring the situation under control by 9:47 a.m. and fully extinguished the fire by 10:14 a.m.

The Red Cross is providing temporary housing assistance to the displaced occupants. The incident marks the first red bulb added to the Wreath, according to officials.
