Lehigh Acres crash involving semitruck leaves at least 1 injured

A crash involving a pickup truck and a semitruck has left at least one person injured in Lehigh Acres on Friday morning.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a crash in the area of Homestead Road and Parkdale Boulevard shortly before 6 a.m.

Homestead Road was shut down at the time of the crash.

A Gulf Coast News reporter on the scene reported seeing Lee County deputies and Lehigh Fire crews assisting with the crash.

There is at least one person who suffered injuries in the crash. Gulf Coast News reached out to find out the total number of injuries in the crash and who was injured.
