2 seriously injured after crashing car into St. Pete home

Two people were seriously injured after crashing into a car and then a home in St. Petersburg on Sunday night.

According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, a 35-year-old woman was driving when she struck a parked vehicle in the roadway and then a house at the 2500 block of 37th Street South around 12:30 a.m.

The driver and a 41-year-old man who was the passenger were seriously injured.

The residents inside the home were not injured, officers said.

SPPD is investigating the cause of the crash.
