Lee County crash leaves cars on sides, 2 people sent to hospital

A two-vehicle crash in Lee County sent two people to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at Daniels Parkway and Powers Court at around 12:23 p.m.

The crash left both vehicles flipped on their sides.

The sheriff’s office confirmed injuries were involved in the crash and that two people were sent to a local hospital.

South Trail Fire and Rescue said its crews were able to extricate both drivers from the overturned vehicles.
