Man injured in shooting on Sterling Avenue in Delray Beach

The Delray Beach Police Department (DBPD) said that officers responded to reports of gunfire around 10:45 a.m. at 171 Sterling Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to the spokesperson for DBPD. His condition has not yet been released.

Preliminary information suggests the shooting stemmed from an apparent argument. Detectives remain on the scene gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
