A child has sustained minor injuries after they fell out of a moving vehicle on Veteran’s Boulevard and Atwater Street at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

CCSO says that at around the child opened the door of the vehicle before falling out.

Charlotte County Fire & EMS said that the child was airlifted by Aeromed to All Children’s Hospital.
