A 35-year-old Orlando man was killed and his passenger was seriously injured Monday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash on State Road 429 in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened in the southbound lanes of S.R. 429 near Winter Garden Vineland Road in Winter Garden.
The FHP said the 35-year-old was driving a 2012 Dodge Ram Chassis Cab south on S.R. 429 when he lost control of the vehicle, which overturned multiple times.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the truck and died at the scene, according to an FHP crash report.
His passenger, a 37-year-old Orlando man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, the FHP said.
All southbound lanes were closed in the area, causing major traffic delays in the area.
